Placement

Hello! Now the course is done...I was graded with 7 points out of 12 after the individual exam...not bad :)
I have been in the hospital for a week now. My first day was on the 16th of April. I am in a geriatric ward with patients who have had a stroke. The first few days were a bit strange because nurses who I was with did not speak english that well, so most of the time I just was looking what they were doing. But at the end of the week I was with a nurse who spoke english very well and she let me do a lot of things...it was nice. Is it different than in Estonia? Yes, it is. First, nurses in Denmark don´t take blood, a special person from lab is doing it...strange. Also nurses are the ones who tell the doctors about the patients and which one should be visited by them. Because doctors don´t visit patients every day. And of course everything is in danish, so a lot of information gets lost and it is difficult to communicate with patients...but I only have two more weeks to go...then my time in Denmark is over.
